Ponte 25 de Abril
The tour will sail from Doca de Santo Amaro, in Lisbon, right next to the 25 de Abril bridge.
Completed in 1966, this suspension Bridge, was named after the dictator Salazar, and its name was changed after the revolution of April 25.

Padrao dos Descobrimentos
This monument evokes Portugal's overseas expansion, synthesizes a glorious past and symbolizes the grandeur of the work of Infante D. Henrique the founder of the discoveries.

Torre de Belem
Built in 1515 as a fortress to guard the entrance to Lisbon´s harbor, for the sailors it was the last sight of their homeland.
At this point we will stop for a few moments, and head further for the south bank of the river.

Santuario Nacional de Cristo Rei
We will go up the river on its right bank until Cristo Rei. The idea of the construction of the Monument to Cristo Rei comes in 1934, during a visit to Brazil by the then Cardinal Patriarch of Lisbon, D. Manuel Gonçalves Cerejeira.
In total, about 40 thousand tons of concrete were used. After being built, it was carved by hand in a work of minutia, developed more than a hundred meters from the ground.

Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco)
Situated by the Tagus River, in the area that was the site of the palace of the kings of Portugal for about two centuries, today it´s partially occupied by some government departments. It is one of the largest squares in Europe, with about 36 000 m².
